Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum houses the world's premier collection of rare American motorcycles, with over 300 machines on display in Maggie Valley, just five miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visitors watch rare bikes come to life Thursday through Monday as staff fire up vintage motorcycles throughout the museum, letting guests hear and see some of the world's rarest machines in operation. The collection features one-off American automobiles and memorabilia alongside motorcycles spanning many decades and brands. The museum hosts seasonal events including Founder's Day, featuring previously unseen motorcycles and machines acquired during the off-season, plus the annual motorcycle raffle drawing. A gift shop offers themed merchandise. The museum operates daily from 10am to 5pm during its open season, with admission charged at published rates. Founder Dale Walksler also produces Dale's Channel, an exclusive video series documenting restorations and rebuilds occurring at the museum, available by subscription.
