Water Bug Tours operates narrated cruises from the historic Beaufort waterfront through the calm waters of Beaufort, Taylor's Creek, and the Rachel Carson Reserve. The signature Wild Horse, Nature & History Cruise lasts 45 to 60 minutes and departs multiple times daily, with a professional captain who navigates the vessel while answering questions and providing personalized commentary rather than scripted announcements. Sunset cruises follow the same route during the golden hour, taking advantage of spectacular views across the Crystal Coast. A special fireworks cruise operates during the Independence Day celebration, drifting through Gallants Channel for approximately 90 minutes. Visitors should bring sunglasses, binoculars, and cameras to capture wildlife and coastal scenery. Private charters are available by reserving all 16 seats.
