Visitors board a 24-foot pontoon boat departing from the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel's waterside location in downtown New Bern for daytime tours offered at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. The captain provides narration about the area's history and local landmarks during the cruise. A sunset cruise departs 90 minutes before sunset, traveling on the Neuse River and up the Trent to view the sun setting near Brice's Creek. Passengers may bring snacks and beverages aboard. The boat departs from New Bern Grand Marina, with the dock located behind the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel. Each visitor requires a confirmed reserved seat. Restroom facilities are not available aboard the boat, though the hotel offers public restrooms. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
