About Valley Gem Sternwheeler

Valley Gem Sternwheeler operates riverboat cruises on the Ohio River in Marietta, Ohio, aboard authentic paddlewheel vessels. Visitors board the Valley Gem, a 290-passenger sternwheeler completed in 1989, or the Major, a historic towboat built in 1928 that propels the Riviera, a passenger barge. The company offers various cruise experiences throughout the year, including educational tours, daytime cruises, and evening entertainment cruises with themes such as 1940s-era events.
