About USS Lexington Museum

The USS Lexington Museum is a decommissioned World War II aircraft carrier that visitors explore as a floating museum in Corpus Christi, Texas. Guests tour the flight deck, the museum's most popular attraction, and walk through the ship's interior spaces. The museum features the Pearl Harbor exhibit, an immersive display with light and sound effects, and the Joe Jessel 3D MEGA Theater. A flight simulator allows visitors to experience piloting a warplane. The museum also offers Lockdown on the LEX, a series of high-intensity escape rooms with missions including Beat the Blast, Face Your Fears, and SOS, each set within the ship's actual compartments and designed for groups of various sizes. Self-guided smartphone tours with video and photos bring exhibits to life. The Mess Deck Café provides food for visitors. Overnight camping experiences allow groups to sleep aboard the vessel. The museum opens daily and is located on North Beach, steps from the Texas State Aquarium.
