About Texas Sealife Center

Texas Sealife Center rescues injured and stranded coastal and aquatic wildlife, then rehabilitates and releases them back into their natural habitat in Corpus Christi. Visitors tour the facility to observe sea turtles and other unique creatures in one-on-one experiences led by experienced guides who adapt information for all ages. Children can watch volunteers during feeding times, though touching animals and sea turtles is not permitted due to federal protection laws and safety concerns. The center is wheelchair and stroller accessible with ramps throughout. Upcoming events include the Turtle Trot 5K and The Island Chili Showdown. The facility accepts cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards for admission and other services. Located at 14220 S Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas Sealife Center charges admission; children ages two and under are free. According to texassealifecenter.org, this nonprofit organization focuses on education and public awareness about wildlife conservation efforts in South Texas.
