The Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi is the largest aquarium in Texas, where visitors explore over 300 animal species across multiple exhibits and attend included wildlife presentations. The facility features Ocean Odyssey, Dolphin Bay, and Caribbean Journey, with hands-on encounters involving stingrays and a splash pad. Daily presentations cover dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, otters, and stingrays. The Wildlife Rescue Center, the largest coastal wildlife rescue facility in Texas, treats dolphins, river otters, manatees, and sea turtles using state-of-the-art veterinary equipment and the only wildlife-specific CAT scan in the state. Visitors can watch the treatment and rehabilitation of injured marine mammals and shorebirds. The aquarium operates daily, with the splash pad available Saturdays and Sundays. Group rates are available with advance booking. Military personnel and veterans receive $5 off regular admission, and members of participating AZA institutions receive 50 percent off regular priced admission.
