The Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi presents rotating exhibitions of contemporary art alongside its permanent collections. Visitors explore galleries featuring works by Texas artists and pieces selected for the museum's collections. The ArtCade interactive space on the first floor offers hands-on activities where children use computer stations for drawing, painting and animation, work with art activity kits, build with blocks and create collages at a touchtable. The Blanche Moore Digital Studio provides access to computers and equipment including Adobe Creative Suite software, scanners and printers for supervised sessions. The museum operates a gift shop carrying books, posters, handmade jewelry and art objects by local artists. Adult workshops and young artist classes occur regularly throughout the month.
