About The Texas Zoo

The Texas Zoo is a family-friendly facility where visitors walk through exhibits to observe wildlife and learn about animal conservation. The zoo features various animals and habitats designed to connect guests with nature while teaching the importance of protecting wild species. Visitors explore at their own pace along designated pathways, observing animals in their exhibits. The zoo offers educational programs and guided tours for guests seeking deeper learning opportunities. Stroller rentals are available for families with young children, and the zoo provides easy access parking for all visitors. Service animals are welcome, though personal pets are not permitted. The facility accepts most major credit cards and tap-to-pay options. A gift shop is on-site for purchases including authorized animal feed for designated feeding opportunities. The Texas Zoo is located in Victoria and operates seasonally with extended hours during warmer months and shortened hours during cooler months, with admission ending before the zoo closes to allow for animal care routines.
