Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art in Victoria showcases contemporary paintings, sculptures, wood carvings and theatrical performances across three distinct galleries. Gallery A, nicknamed the "fishbowl," features 22 windows overlooking the five-way intersection that gives the museum its name and displays art cars, sculptures, videos and murals. Gallery B includes bay doors on each end, accommodating car displays and oversized metallic sculptures, with an adjoining media room for presentations and film screenings. Gallery C, the largest gallery, hosts art installations, theatrical performances and special events. Current exhibitions include Elizabeth Payne's paintings spanning decades of her career, ranging from geometric hard-edge abstraction to colorful landscapes and portraits depicting South Texas, and Roy Fridge's wood carvings addressing myth, storytelling and whimsy. The museum, housed in a former 1940s automobile dealership, invites visitors to experience rotating exhibitions and performances throughout the year.
