About Coleto Creek Reservoir & Park

Coleto Creek Reservoir & Park is a 190-acre recreation area midway between Victoria and Goliad offering fishing, swimming, water skiing, and wildlife watching on a 3,100-acre reservoir with 61 miles of shoreline. The park features a four-lane boat ramp, a 200-foot lighted fishing pier, and a marked swimming area for water activities. Amenities include twenty multi-use campsites with electrical service and water, fifty-nine sites with full hookups, five camping cabins, and two covered group pavilions with horseshoe pits and barbecue facilities. A 1.5-mile hiking and nature trail connects two viewing and nature photography stations. Additional facilities feature a disc golf course, playground, picnic areas with grills, restrooms with showers, and laundry facilities. The park also hosts bow hunting and fishing tournaments. Located in Victoria, Texas, the park opened to the public in 1981 and maintains a constant water level with an average depth of eleven feet.
