About Underground Retrocade
Underground Retrocade is a video arcade in West Dundee featuring over 200 classic arcade games from the golden era of arcade gaming. Visitors play original cabinet machines including classic video games, air hockey, skee-ball, and pinball tables. The venue operates with a pay-once, play-as-much-as-you-want model and includes 1980s-themed decor and ambiance to recreate the original arcade experience. The facility uses authentic arcade cabinets rather than multicade machines to preserve the genuine gameplay. Pinball tables are available on an a la carte token basis separate from the main admission. The venue tracks high scores through Aurcade.com and can submit player scores to the Twin Galaxies International Scoreboard. Children under age 9 must be accompanied by a paid adult at a 1:1 ratio, while children ages 9-14 require a paid adult present. The arcade charges admission and publishes its pricing online.
