The Arms Family Museum occupies Greystone, a 1905 Arts and Crafts mansion in Youngstown. Visitors explore changing galleries displaying the Historical Society's collections of decorative arts, clothing, textiles, and fine artwork across multiple exhibition spaces. The B.F. Wirt Gallery features decorative arts, while the Jeanne Tyler Costume Gallery and Arms Gallery rotate exhibits on the museum's second floor. The lower level houses the Anne Kilcawley Christman Hands-On History Room, where visitors interact directly with artifacts and materials related to Mahoning Valley history through hands-on activities. The mansion itself reflects the Arms family's passion for handicraft and medieval architecture, featuring stone construction, natural materials, and spacious rooms with casement doors opening to terraces. School and group field trips are available.
