About Escape Boardman Hotel

Escape Boardman Hotel in Youngstown is a haunted-themed escape room attraction where groups solve puzzles and find clues to complete timed challenges. Visitors are escorted to their suite by a bellhop and have 60 minutes to work together, deciphering how clues connect to unlock the scenario and escape. The Asylum room places players as friends trying to rescue a brother from Smith's Insane Asylum, locate an antidote, and escape before an evil doctor returns. This suite accommodates 4 to 8 people and requires critical thinking and teamwork to navigate its nonlinear room flow and mind games. Suite 1408, available seasonally, immerses guests in a haunted hotel narrative inspired by author Mike Enslin's mysterious disappearance, featuring extreme flashing lights and fog effects. Both experiences challenge participants to leverage each other's strengths while facing distractions and unexpected events. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
