Tiny Town Solano: Childrens Museum of Discovery, Exploration and Play in Fairfield is a learning lab where children engage in open-ended play across multiple environments. Visitors explore the Art & Maker Studio for designing projects, the STEM Lab for investigating concepts, and five dramatic play spaces where children create their own stories through role-playing. The museum features stations with rotating materials and loose-part exploration, encouraging hands-on experimentation with real materials. Rather than directing what children should do, the museum invites them to figure things out through building, creating, and sensory engagement. The environments intentionally evolve as children grow, with prompts that become more complex over time. Birthday parties and field trips are available. The museum operates under the 4 E's Framework—Exploration, Experimentation, Experience, and Engagement—rooted in developmental theory and designed to help children become confident, curious learners who see themselves as builders, dreamers, and creators.
