About Thunder Bowl

Thunder Bowl in Mokena is a bowling alley, arcade, and bar with billiards, darts, and cornhole. Visitors walk in during open bowling hours without a reservation, rent shoes at the counter, and bowl on well-maintained lanes. The facility offers bumpers and kiddie ramps for young bowlers and keeps six billiard tables on hand for pool players. An arcade floor features ticket-based games where players redeem tickets for prizes. The venue has hosted five bowling leagues during the season, including sanctioned and casual options for weekly or monthly play. Private party rooms accommodate groups for bowling parties with reserved lanes, shoes, pizza, and soft drinks, or candlelight bowling with a glow atmosphere and unlimited play. The alley operates from a full kitchen and two bars serving food and drinks. Kids Bowl Free offers free games of bowling all summer long starting in June, available through registration at mokenathunderbowl.com.
