About The Stein Family Farm

The Stein Family Farm is a living history farm preserve in National City that offers tours of its intact 1880s farmhouse museum and 1920s barn. Visitors explore antique farm implements, a Surrey with the fringe on top, the Stein family's 1932 Dodge automobile, a buggy, and various tack and equipment. The property includes an orchard and farm animals representing breeds from around the world. An 1889 Queen Anne Victorian house, recently relocated to the south end of the property, is undergoing restoration. The volunteer-run facility operates as a teaching farm dedicated to preserving local history and agricultural heritage. Families and groups can observe the historic buildings and animals while learning about the Stein family and National City's past. The farm is situated at 1808 F Avenue in National City, California.
