The Pumpkin Patch in Placentia operates as Southern California's oldest pumpkin patch, established in 1976. Visitors select from pumpkins in various shapes, sizes, and colors throughout the grounds. The farm features baby animals including chicks, ducklings, piglets, lambs, bunnies, and goats that guests can pet and feed at a designated hand-washing station. Tractor rides allow children to operate their own John Deere tractors with staff assistance. Over ten carnival games offer prizes to all players regardless of outcome. Inflatables range from toddler bounce houses to giant mazes and slides. Additional attractions include human hamster balls, gold panning with take-home nuggets, gemstone selection, face painting using non-toxic washable paint, and photo opportunity setups throughout the property. The combination of interactive activities and seasonal pumpkin selection creates an experience suited to families with children of varying ages.
