About The Farmers' Daughter

The Farmers' Daughter is a sixth-generation family farm in Taylorsville where visitors shop at a country store stocked with farm-fresh produce, locally raised meats, hand-dipped ice cream, deli sandwiches, local dairy products, and glass-bottle sodas in an antique setting. The farm grows strawberries and tomatoes along with seasonal vegetables in greenhouses, high tunnels, and fields, using non-GMO seeds and sustainable methods including cover cropping and drip irrigation. The country store also carries goods from over twenty regional partners: pasture-raised beef, chicken, and pork, plus local jams, baked goods, cheeses, and handcrafted gifts. Field trips for younger students include a pumpkin patch tour where children learn about pumpkin life cycles and see freshly planted strawberry fields. The store accepts cash, credit and debit cards, and SNAP benefits.
