About The Children's Museum

The Children's Museum in Cincinnati offers hands-on learning through eight themed play areas designed for children ages 0-10. Young visitors climb, crawl and investigate exhibits including The Woods, an adventure-based wilderness space that challenges physical abilities and imagination. The Energy Zone presents a netted enclosure where children become part of a complex machine, analyzing ball paths and simple machines at individual stations. Kids' Town recreates a neighborhood where children run a Kroger grocery store, veterinary clinic, diner and Post Office. Additional exhibits include Inside the Grin, where visitors learn about dental health inside a gigantic mouth, KidSPACE for science and art exploration, and Nature's Trading Post for learning about collecting and the natural world. Little Sprouts Farm and the Infant Garden provide spaces for children four years old and younger with their caregivers. The museum offers over 1,800 hours of programming annually.
