About Glenwood Gardens

Glenwood Gardens spans 338 acres of scenic trails, playgrounds, and carefully manicured landscapes. Visitors explore the Highfield Discovery Garden, a vibrant interactive space featuring seven themed gardens including the Wizard's Garden, Butterfly Garden, and Vegetable Garden. A towering Discovery Tree anchors the space, while the Music Garden lets guests play outdoor instruments. The property also includes rolling meadows and prairie walks for quieter exploration. Children find playground equipment and hands-on activities throughout the grounds. The Visitor Center and Gardenview Room offer indoor spaces for gatherings and events. Programs like the Super Sprouts Garden Club and Eco-Arts classes run seasonally, providing educational opportunities. The gardens open daily from dawn until dusk, with restrooms and parking available on-site.
