About Temple To The Brave

Temple to the Brave is a memorial war museum located in Pipkin Park in Beaumont, Texas. Built in 1932 by the Col. George Moffett Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the museum honors those who fought for the country. Visitors view exhibits of artifacts donated by servicemembers and their families, including uniforms, weapons, photographs, and personal items that document military service across different eras. The collection displays contributions from soldiers and recognizes fallen service members, those who served and returned home, and those living with service-related challenges. The museum also acknowledges the families of military members and their sacrifices. The museum opens on major patriotic holidays throughout the year, allowing the public to explore the exhibits and pay respects to those honored within its walls.
