About Tahoe Paradise Park
Tahoe Paradise Park sits on the banks of the Upper Truckee River in South Lake Tahoe, California, offering outdoor recreation away from crowds and traffic. The upper park area centers on Lake Baron, where visitors fish, paddle board, and kayak on calm water near a 1000-year-old Juniper Tree. Tennis courts and a Clubhouse with beach access host live music and events. The lower park area contains a playground, disc golf course, large picnic area, and numerous hiking and mountain biking trails throughout the park. Dogs are welcome on leash throughout the park, with designated dog stations available. The recreation area serves families, active adults, and outdoor enthusiasts seeking fishing, water sports, tennis, cycling, and trail activities. Both upper and lower park areas can be reserved for private events and celebrations. The Tahoe Paradise Recreation and Park District administers the facility.
