About Blue Granite Climbing Gym
Blue Granite Climbing Gym is an indoor climbing facility in South Lake Tahoe where visitors climb on indoor walls using top rope and lead climbing techniques. The gym features climbing walls for bouldering and rope climbing, along with yoga and fitness classes. Visitors can rent climbing shoes, harnesses, and chalk bags. Belay certification is required for those belaying or lead climbing, with testing available at the gym. Blue Granite offers group climbing classes and private instruction for various skill levels. The gym hosts monthly events including Pride Night, Ladies Night with workshops on movement and mentality, and Adaptive Night with specialized coaching for climbers with disabilities. Youth programs include recreational clubs, a competition team, and a training team. Summer camps and homeschool voucher options are available. The facility also offers punch passes and memberships for regular visitors. Day passes grant access to climbing, yoga classes, and cardio equipment.
