Lake Tahoe Balloons operates hot air balloon flights over Lake Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, California. Guests meet at Tahoe Keys Marina and board the Tahoe Flyer, the world's only U.S.C.G. certified balloon launch and recovery vessel. While cruising to the launch site, beverages and refreshments are available onboard. The experienced crew inflates the balloon from the upper deck before guests board for liftoff. The balloon rises above Lake Tahoe, offering panoramic views of Emerald Bay, Fallen Leaf Lake, Cascade Lake, and the Desolation Wilderness. On clear days, visibility extends to peaks in Yosemite and coastal foothills over 150 miles away. The flight concludes with a landing on the Tahoe Flyer's upper deck, followed by a champagne toast with mimosas and snacks during the return cruise to the marina.
