Strites Orchards, Harrisburg

About Strites Orchards

Strites Orchards operates a corn maze and pumpkin patch where visitors pick their own pumpkins and sunflowers from the fields. The farm park also offers pick-your-own grapes straight from the vine and maintains flower fields for cutting. A farm market and bakery on site sell fresh, locally grown produce and homemade baked goods. The orchard spans 300 acres in the Harrisburg area and has operated as a family farm since 1843, with the Strite family now in its fifth generation of farming. Visitors can participate in the Community Supported Agriculture program, which delivers fresh produce throughout the greater Harrisburg region. The farm's activities suit families seeking seasonal outdoor activities and access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers and baked goods in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
