Squire's Castle is a gatehouse built in the 1890s and modeled after German and English baronial castles in North Chagrin Reservation. Visitors explore the historic structure itself and enjoy the open grounds in front for games and picnics. The castle serves as a venue for weddings and hosts regular programs and events. Nature Storytime at Squire's Castle brings families together as a naturalist reads stories inside the historic building, followed by hands-on activities and guided exploration of the castle. Curiosities at the Castle offers lantern-lit walks around and inside the structure, where visitors learn about misunderstood animals and observe creepy creatures of the night while examining bones and other natural history specimens. Hiking and walking trails connect to the castle through the reservation. The site is located in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, within North Chagrin Reservation, near the Squire's Castle Trailhead, North Chagrin Oxbow Lagoon, and sledding areas at Old River Farm.
