Sciencenter in Ithaca is an interactive science museum with over 250 hands-on exhibits that invite visitors to explore engineering, animal life, and natural phenomena. In the Animal Room, guests encounter reptiles and fish up close. The Energy Gallery teaches weather patterns, while the Build Space focuses on engineering principles. The Watergates Gallery explores water engineering, and the Airways Maze challenges visitors to send balls through a fifteen-foot air tube structure. The Mezzanine Gallery offers close interaction with the museum's animal collection. In Curiosity Corner, designed for children four and under, young visitors can role-play as veterinarians in the Pet Vet activity. Outside, the Science Park spans two thousand square feet across multiple stories for exploration and play. An eighteen-hole mini-golf course incorporates scientific facts throughout. The museum suits families with children of varying ages and school groups visiting on field trips.
