Ithaca Boat Tours offers narrated sightseeing cruises on Cayuga Lake featuring live commentary on local history, geology, wildlife, Erie Canal history, and historic landmarks. Since 2002, the company has operated sunset cruises, special events, and private charters with guides experienced in Finger Lakes history and character. The M/V Patrick T. Kennedy, a 50-foot motor vessel originally built as a U.S. Navy utility boat, accommodates up to 49 passengers and features a spacious open deck, high sides, and a ship-wide sound system accessible via Bluetooth or auxiliary input. The fleet also includes S/V Echo, a sailing vessel for intimate private charters of up to six guests. Coolers and ice are provided aboard. Private group charters operate from Ithaca, New York, with multiple departure times available throughout fall. The venue charges admission and publishes its prices online.
