The Rocklin Historical Society & Museum, located in the historic Fletcher-Moon House, preserves and promotes the history of Rocklin through exhibits and artifacts. The society operates the Rocklin History Museum and manages the Old Saint Mary's Chapel, a beautifully restored historic building in downtown Rocklin that serves as a venue for weddings and events. The organization participates with the City of Rocklin in developing Heritage Park and serves as stewards of many of Rocklin's irreplaceable historical buildings and items. Volunteers organize tours and events to encourage community participation and awareness of local history. The museum is situated at the corner of San Francisco and Rocklin Road, directly across from City Hall. The organization functions as a nonprofit that connects residents and visitors with Rocklin's unique past through its preserved structures and historical collections.
