About Fairytale Town

Fairytale Town in Sacramento is a storybook park where children and families explore 26 playsets based on nursery rhymes and fairytales. Visitors climb through scenes such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella's castle, engaging imaginatively with each setting. The park features a friendly flock of farm animals that children can interact with throughout the grounds. Two performing arts stages host puppet shows including performances of The Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Three Little Pigs, and Jack and the Beanstalk, along with theatrical productions by the Fairytale Town Troupers. Several gardens provide additional exploration space. The venue hosts seasonal programs including spring animal workshops, fall funcamps, family campouts, and spring fun days. Birthday parties and group visits are available. The nonprofit park has operated for 66 years as a safe space designed for children to imagine, play, and learn through hands-on exploration of classic stories and direct engagement with animals and natural elements.
