Hyperdrive Sim Racing in Rocklin offers professional-grade racing simulators where visitors drive without needing a license. The facility features six full-motion rigs equipped with triple 4K screens that wrap 180 degrees around each driver, creating an immersive 180-degree field of view. Each rig uses four-axis motion platforms that replicate G-forces, road bumps, and tire slip in real time, while haptic feedback transmits engine vibration and tire grip through the seat. The hardware includes load-cell pedals with true brake-pressure sensing and 900-degree force-feedback wheels, the same professional-grade equipment that competitive sim racers train on. Visitors choose from multiple racing modes: Hotlap & Train to chase personal bests, Race Friends or AI for competitive wheel-to-wheel racing, or Traffic Mode for high-speed highway driving. Sessions are available with no experience required, as all equipment is provided and basic instruction is included. A spectator lounge allows friends and family to watch races on screens displaying track position, lap times, and on-board camera feeds.
