About Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center

Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center sits on more than 300 acres about ten minutes from downtown Chattanooga and combines a public park, nature center, and wildlands for outdoor learning. Visitors walk, run, or bicycle a three-mile gravel loop through mature hardwood forests, wildflower meadows, and wetland habitats. The property includes ten miles of trails that connect to National Park land leading to the top of Lookout Mountain. A Native Plant Nursery operates seasonally and sells native plants. The Wildlife Sanctuary opens to the public during guided programs. Canoe access and dock facilities are available for water activities. Educational nature programs and events run on weekends and some weekdays for all ages. The Welcome Center is open published hours, and the campus itself remains accessible during daylight hours to visitors.
