Redwood Sky Walk at Sequoia Park Zoo reaches one hundred feet above the forest floor on nine connected platforms and bridges suspended through old-growth and mature second-growth redwood trees. The self-guided experience stretches just under one quarter mile, making it the longest sky walk in the western United States. Visitors ascend via a three-hundred-sixty-foot ramp with interpretive signage about local redwood history and ecology, then traverse aluminum bridges with cable railings across the canopy. An optional three-hundred-sixty-nine-foot adventure segment with open mesh decking offers more exposure and sway. The main route is fully accessible without stairs; children must be accompanied by a paid adult. The attraction sits within Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka, California.
