About Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve forms one of the richest underwater habitats in the world where visitors explore headlands, coves and rolling meadows along the central California coast. The park publishes admission prices online and opens daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with last entry at 6:30 p.m. Day-use activities focus on coastal landscape photography and hiking through the reserve's distinctive terrain. The park hosts volunteer programs including Habitat Restoration Volunteer Days and Climate Action Day events throughout the year. Fourth graders and their families receive free entry at this location through California's 4th Grade Pass program. Seniors 62 and older can purchase the Senior Golden Bear Pass for twenty dollars, providing free entry during non-peak season for the passholder and spouse.
