About Carmel Walks

Carmel Walks offers guided walking tours through Carmel-by-the-Sea that explore the village's history, architecture, and artistic heritage. Led by tour director Gael Gallagher, the tours follow pathways through charming streets and hidden nooks while uncovering the stories of the creative figures who shaped the community. Visitors encounter the legacies of Robinson Jeffers, Mary Austin, and Nobel laureate John Steinbeck, discovering the places that inspired their artistic work.
