About Plain Township Aquatic Center
Plain Township Aquatic Center in New Albany, Ohio offers swimming and water play in a park-like setting with ample parking, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and green lawn for sunbathing. The facility features an eight-lane competition pool with zero-depth entry, a mushroom umbrella with water sprays and shooting fountains, and two 28-foot water slides including a body slide and tube slide. All pools are heated with stadium lighting for evening swimming. An interactive play area designed for young children from toddlers to school age includes slides, a waterfall, water guns, a tunnel, tipping buckets, and water wheels, with depths ranging from zero to 15 inches and enclosed by a gated fence. The center offers three sessions of swim lessons throughout the summer. A well-stocked concession stand and vending machines serve visitors. Birthday parties are available at Eagles Landing, a wooded private space with picnic tables seating up to 30 people, where all guests must pay pool admission.
