About Ocean World
Ocean World in Crescent City is an aquarium featuring guided tours through multiple exhibits of Pacific Northwest marine life. Visitors descend into environments housing over half a million gallons of water containing sharks, bat rays, seals, and sea lions. Each tour begins at the Touch and Feel Tide Pool, where guests observe and touch creatures living in rocks near Pacific shores. The tour continues into the main aquarium tanks displaying sharks and rays. A distinctive experience involves petting a live shark under staff supervision. Tours conclude with an intimate seal and sea lion performance featuring Pacific Harbor Seals named Wyatt, Skully, and Marina, along with sea lion Cora and Pearl. The facility operates as a natural light aquarium, so tour times vary with daylight hours. A gift shop adjoins the main attractions.
