Netherland Inn Museum, a restored three-story historic house built in 1802 overlooking the Holston River in Kingsport, welcomes visitors on guided tours through furnished rooms, original fireplaces, and period woodwork. Guests explore the main inn alongside reconstructed outbuildings including a log kitchen wing, a cabin where Daniel Boone lived, a stable, smokehouse, and warehouse that illustrate frontier life and the area's boatyard heritage. The Museum of Pioneer Transportation in the bank barn displays ledgers and artifacts from the King's Boat Yard. The site also hosts seasonal events such as tea parties, a junk and treasure sale, and a Christmas celebration. Admission is charged, with younger children receiving free entry. Tours operate on weekends during the warmer months, and the venue publishes its hours online.
