Expedition Untamed in Kingsport is a climate-controlled rainforest facility where visitors trek through simulated jungles and encounter tropical birds, monkeys, reptiles, and amphibians. The immersive experience includes ancient temple ruins and hourly thunderstorms that roll through the forest canopy and floor. General admission grants access to the main rainforest exhibit. Additional interactive programs include Gem and Fossil Mining, where guests discover and keep real geological treasures. The Sloth and Lemur Encounter offers a hands-on experience with sloths and lemurs, including feeding opportunities. Spider Monkey Feeding allows visitors to watch and learn about the dining habits of black-handed spider monkeys and their role in rainforest conservation. The facility operates seven days a week regardless of weather or season. A portion of admission supports grassroots rainforest protection programs worldwide.
