historic adobe building and grounds — photo from the venue's own site
Monterey State Historic Park preserves over ten historic structures within downtown Monterey near Fisherman's Wharf, centered around the Custom House Plaza. The Custom House, California's oldest government building and State Historical Landmark No. 1, anchors the collection alongside California's First Theater and other period buildings including the Pacific House, First Brick House, and Casa Gutierrez. Visitors explore the park by touring individual museums housed in these structures or by joining guided history walks that depart from the Custom House multiple times daily and last approximately one hour. The gardens remain open daily, weather permitting. Guided tours cover Monterey's rich multicultural heritage through exhibits and house tours within the restored buildings. The park suits history enthusiasts and those interested in California's early settlement and government. Dogs are welcome on the grounds but not inside the buildings. The historic district is located in downtown Monterey, California, near Fisherman's Wharf.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read parks.ca.gov, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
