The Spiral Tour descends 165 feet through narrowing passageways to a platform 65 feet underground, with a ten-story spiral staircase continuing to the chamber's base; tours depart hourly and last 45 minutes. The Expedition Tour involves climbing and belly crawling through undeveloped areas with lighted helmets. Above ground, visitors can pan for gold or try axe throwing. Military personnel and immediate family members receive 10 percent off Spiral Tour reservations; children 2 and under are free.
