Lapp Valley Farm is a creamery and cafe in New Holland where visitors enjoy homemade ice cream, fresh dairy products, and hot food in a barn-themed setting. The farm produces milk from its own Jersey cows and uses it to make hand-scooped ice cream in over seventeen flavors, bottled fresh milk, chocolate milk, and espresso drinks. The cafe serves burgers, fried chicken, and chicken sandwiches alongside specialty coffee and teas. Visitors can browse a fully stocked store carrying local Lancaster County goods including candy and other regional products. An indoor, barn-themed play area allows children to play while families eat. The farm began in 1975 when Ben Lapp started making ice cream for tourists, and the current creamery and cafe location opened in 2022. The business controls every step of production, from raising cows to processing milk into finished products.
