About Kent Historical Society
The Kent Historical Society & Museum serves as the primary resource for understanding Kent's heritage through its collection of roughly 5,000 artifacts and archives. Visitors explore exhibits housed in a Victorian home near downtown Kent, including a model train room depicting downtown Kent through the ages, a recreated Victorian Era Parlor with a Victrola, a Barber Shop display where guests can sit in an antique chair, and a children's room filled with toys and interactive artifacts. Educational programs welcome school groups for guided tours adjusted to class size and age, with curators presenting stories about Native Americans, early settlers, and prominent Kent families.
