About Island Way Excursions

Island Way Excursions operates guided boat tours through the waters surrounding Anna Maria Island in Holmes Beach, Florida. Captain Dan Jolitz leads customized excursions tailored to each group's interests, whether families, couples, or corporate groups. Visitors choose from several tour types: sandbar trips where guests swim, snorkel, shell hunt, and relax on the water; dolphin watching tours to observe pods of dolphins in their natural habitat; and Egmont Key adventures featuring snorkeling, beaches, and exploration of an old fort on the island. The boat is equipped with sea scooters, paddle boards, snorkels, and floating rafts for water activities. Tours depart from the Holmes Beach area and navigate Tampa Bay and the surrounding coastal waters. Captain Dan brings over twenty years of charter captain experience and emphasizes safety and comfort for all guests during their time on the water.
