About Island Shuttle Boat Tours
Island Shuttle Boat Tours operates from Savannah Boathouse Marina and takes visitors on boat tours of the lowcountry waterways and transports them to nearby points of interest. The company ferries passengers and pets to Daufuskie Island, Wassaw Island, and destinations including River Street, Beach Hammock, Hilton Head Island, and Old Town Bluffton. Visitors ride on a Key West DFS 20' Bowrider or a Key West FS 24' Center Console, each accommodating up to six passengers, with larger groups transported on multiple boats with two USCG-certified captains. The 30-minute express service to Daufuskie Island departs from the closest Georgia marina to that destination. Dogs ride free when space allows. Owners Dan and Jeanne Foulds, both retired from emergency medical transportation careers, emphasize safety and personal service. All guests must be able to step independently into and out of the boats, though crew members provide assistance. Island Shuttle Boat Tours is located in Savannah, Georgia.
