Grave Encounters Tour is a trolley-based ghost tour through historic Savannah that shares stories of the city's haunted past. Visitors board a trolley at the Welcome Center and travel to specific haunted landmarks while guides narrate tales of murder, voodoo, death, and disease. The tour stops at the Sorrel-Weed House, widely considered Savannah's most haunted residence, and the Colonial Park Cemetery, where Yellow Fever victims were buried. Guests also visit the Olde Pink House, known for supernatural activity, and the Telfair Academy, Savannah's oldest public art museum. During the tour, costumed characters portraying deceased theater performers and dead pirates board the trolley to share their morbid stories. The experience lasts about two and a half hours and operates nightly. A dinner option includes exclusive access to the Pirates' House Rum Cellar, a historic space once frequented by real pirates. The tour is family-friendly for all ages and departs from the Welcome Center in Savannah, Georgia.
