About Iguanaland Inc.
Iguanaland Inc. is a twelve-acre reptile and amphibian zoo in Punta Gorda where visitors interact with over 250 different species from around the world. Guests meet rock iguanas, countless species of turtles and tortoises, Irwin the Perentie monitor, and Aly the Aldabra tortoise. The facility holds daily giant tortoise feeding sessions at eleven in the morning and two in the afternoon, included with general admission. The zoo operates as an education and conservation center founded by herpetologist and conservationist Ty Park, focusing on teaching the public about reptile and amphibian diversity and importance. Iguanaland offers VIP tours and field trips for groups seeking deeper experiences. The outdoor attraction welcomes visitors with strollers and mobility assistance devices, and includes a covered picnic area where guests may bring their own food and drinks. Cold bottled drinks and packaged snacks are available for purchase in the gift shop.
