About Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center

Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers presents art exhibitions, concerts, and lectures within a restored Neoclassic Revival building with a colorful history dating back hundreds of years. Visitors explore rotating art galleries featuring various exhibitions throughout the year. The center hosts a music series with live performances and special events including rooftop gatherings. Educational programs serve both children and adults, such as photography classes taught by experienced instructors. Outside the building stand the Caloosahatchee Manuscripts, two illuminated bronze sculptural cylinders eight feet high that display Native American and Latin text related to local history and the migration of indigenous peoples into Florida. The facility includes performance spaces for concerts and theater productions, along with studio areas for workshops. Gallery hours are published on the venue's website, with extended hours on select evenings.
