The Charlotte County Fair in Port Charlotte features ten days of carnival rides, food vendors, livestock shows, and live entertainment. Visitors experience the Midway with attractions including the Dragon kiddie ride, Zero Gravity ride, and Ring of Fire. John Deere equipment displays and Water Race Fun activities showcase agricultural and interactive elements. The fairgrounds span twenty acres with multiple buildings: an Exposition building with ten thousand square feet, a Barn with five thousand square feet, a Pole Barn with nearly ten thousand square feet, and an Arts and Crafts building with twenty-five hundred square feet. A Stage and Arena measuring one hundred seventy-five by two hundred twenty-five square feet hosts performances. The fair draws families with children seeking carnival entertainment, animal exhibits, and seasonal festivities. Beyond the annual fair, the Charlotte County Fairgrounds hosts numerous events throughout the year on its grounds in Port Charlotte.
